Process Automation


An automatic process control system (PCS) includes:

  • a distributed control system (DCS) to control, adjust and monitor processes as per operating procedures in the normal mode;
  • a safety instrumented system (SIS) to control, adjust and monitor processes as per emergency protection procedures in the emergency mode.
