Technical Diagnostics

 

Technical diagnostics of mechanical  process equipment is intended:

1)    to identify the technical condition of the equipment,

2)    to identify external and internal weld joint and base metal flaws by applying advanced non-destructive testing methods,

3)    to identify the residual metal thickness;

4)    to identify the mechanical properties of the metal;

5)    to estimate the residual life of the equipment,

6)    to prepare recommendations and procedures for safe operation,

7)    to prepare an industrial safety expert opinion (if required).

 

 Pipeline diagnostics is intended:

1)      to evaluate the technical condition of process and auxiliary pipelines and their buried and above-ground sections using advanced NDT methods,

2)      to identify external and internal weld joint flaws,

3)      to find out any non-standard and non-OEM elements used in pipeline construction,

4)      to evaluate the condition of the foundations, suspensions and supports,

5)      to estimate the vibration level in the pipes of the trunkline and booster pumps,

6)      to evaluate the pipeline corrosion state;

7)      to estimate pipeline residual life using the test results,

8)      to prepare an opinion and recommendations using the survey results.

 

 Inspection & Diagnostics Types:

1) ultrasonic thickness measurements,

2) visual and measuring inspection.

 

NDT of Facilities (Equipment):

 1. Gas supply systems (gas disctribution):

external steel gas pipelines;

internal steel gas pipelines.

2. Oil & Gas Equipment:

gas and oil pumping equipment,

gas and oil product pipelines.

3. Equipment at Explosive, Flammable & Hazardous Facilities:

equipment at chemical, petrochemical and oil refining facilities;

explosive and toxic substance storage tanks;

process pipelines, vapour and hot water pipelines.

 

Non-destructive testing and technical diagnostics of the operated / repaired equipment prevents breakdowns and emergency situations, reduces downtimes and operating costs, extends service life and life before failures, and decreases repair times and costs.
